AV Support Manager London Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Support Manager to oversee and manage our support department. As the AV Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our support services. Your primary responsibility will be to log support requests, track their progress, and ensure timely resolution. Additionally, you will arrange onsite visits for support, either personally or by coordinating with our team of engineers. Responsibilities:
  1. Logging support requests: Efficiently and accurately log all incoming support requests, ensuring relevant details are captured for effective troubleshooting and resolution.
  2. Progress tracking: Continuously monitor and track the progress of support requests, ensuring timely updates to clients and the management team.
  3. Onsite support visits: Organize and coordinate onsite visits for support, either by yourself or by assigning the appropriate support engineer.
  4. Technical support: Provide hands-on technical support to engineers during onsite visits, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring effective problem resolution.
  5. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on support activities, outcomes, and key metrics to keep stakeholders informed about support department performance and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  1. Technical expertise: Possess advanced technical knowledge of audiovisual (AV) systems and equipment to effectively troubleshoot and resolve support issues.
  2. Management experience: Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, overseeing a support team and ensuring high-quality support services.
  3. Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, engineers, and the management team. Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  4. Organizational skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple support requests simultaneously and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  5. Problem-solving skills: Possess a proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify underlying issues and implement effective solutions.
  6. Flexibility: Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, splitting time between home and office-based work, as well as occasional travel to client sites.
  7. Location: Ideally based in or around London to efficiently manage support activities within the region.
Salary: We offer a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum for the right candidate, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
