Senior Credit Controller

As a senior credit controller, your role will involve a range of responsibilities essential to the smooth running of our finance department and be involved in supporting the smooth onboarding of acquisition businesses.

• You will be responsible for allocating cash to customer accounts on a daily basis, sending out monthly statements, and monitoring and chasing outstanding customer debt.
• Additionally, you will take charge of the team-shared mailbox, proactively communicate with clients/venues about their accounts and future payments, and provide weekly reports on cash income and aged debtor’s position to our Financial Director.
• Collaboration will be crucial as you work closely with multiple teams to address client and venue queries. You will also raise necessary credit notes while adhering to our approval policy, as well as report on queries and credit notes on a weekly basis.
• Alongside these responsibilities, you will handle various ad-hoc duties within the team, such as drafting letters to customers regarding warnings and fraud alerts..

You will have the opportunity to identify and implement improvements in transactional processes, ensuring efficiency throughout the team. Your integrity and ability to handle confidential information will be highly regarded.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent Excel skills, organisational and time management abilities, and outstanding attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks are necessities. A basic understanding of accounting principles will be an advantage.
