Facilities Assistant

Salary: £19,000

Working hours: 7.30am-2pm Monday-Friday

Our client is looking for a candidate who can assist with daily office duties to ensure the office is run smoothly. Provide support for PA's and HR team where needed. This list is not totally inclusive, and the person will be expected to complete tasks reasonably requested by the Senior HR Manager.

Main Duties include

General office duties:

  • Distributing incoming post and franking outgoing post
  • Answering reception calls that come in
  • Responding to courier pick-ups and parcel deliveries
  • Meeting and checking in visitors that arrive
  • Ordering stationery and refreshments supplies as and when required
  • Ordering/setting out delivered meeting lunches and clearing them away


  • Unloading the dishwashers first thing and distributing mugs/glasses into the right tea point areas
  • Check milk supplies and order/cancel where appropriate
  • Check/top up hygiene stations and stationery points each day
  • Check the boilers each week to monitor pressure
  • Check and replenish first aid boxes/supplies as and when required
  • Ensure office generally is kept tidy and meeting rooms are kept organised
  • Look after the maintenance of the coffee machines and run through daily/weekly clean
  • Clearing out the fridges regularly and keeping them tidy

Additional Duties:

Provide support for PA's and HR team where needed (holiday and sickness cover)
