We are looking for a part time Payroller to oversee the payroll process for our client.

They run 1 weekly and 1 monthly payroll from 100-200 staff. Friendly and supportive team.

  • Responsible for completing an accurate and timely in-house payroll in compliance with regulations
  • Process employee expenses and administer Company benefits
  • Complete payroll cycle using computerised system
  • Monitor compliance with PAYE regulations and resolve any non-compliance issues
  • Prepare statutory reports required by HMRC (e.g. Form P11D’s, Real Time Information)
  • Maintain confidential payroll and HR records for audits
  • Administer company pension schemes and private healthcare schemes
  • Prepare employee-related reports on a monthly basis
  • Process expenses in line with HMRC guidelines
  • Maintain records for employee sickness and holidays

  • Part-time role, Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:00pm, 22.5 hours per week
  • Competitive salary of £19,900.00 pa (33k PA Pro Rata, £17/hr)

Ideal candidate:

  • 3 to 5 years of in-house payroll experience or equivalent. This can be pure payroll or as part of your role.
  • Broad understanding of Tax and NI Compliance
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proactive and adaptable approach
