Technical Administrator

Paying £11.50 p/h

Our client, The National Trust require a temporary support administrator to join them on an ongoing basis.


Key tasks include:

  • Becoming proficient in relevant areas of the NAV back office system to ensure resolution of queries in a timely manner
  • Dealing with property users primarily by incoming telephone call, but also by email to resolve queries, providing coaching where necessary
  • Tracking and recording queries and resolution through to completion using a call logging system
  • Liaising with other areas of the business(Finance, Retail, F&B) where required to ensure queries are resolved
  • Performing a variety of housekeeping tasks on the system to ensure up to date
  • Monitoring NAV Back Office Support mailbox and responding to a variety of queries
  • Delivering coaching by telephone to property system users

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong collaboration and team working skills to allow cohesive and efficient working within linked teams, suppliers and across operations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal staff and back office system users at all levels
  • Excellent telephone manner, ability to interact by telephone at all levels
  • Proven record in customer service
  • Able to assimilate, record, analyse and interpret data in order to identify trends and exceptions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to task
  • Able to prioritise own workload
  • Good and proven written English language skills
  • Proven numerical skills
  • A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving , with an interest in application support
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Good knowledge and use of Excel and Word
